on the road again...

Whooooo! These past few weeks have been crazy. We (the TDS/Schwalbe High Speed Racing Team) have been doing promotional stuff across the southeast doing TDS office visits and school visits. We spoke to thousands of kids about bike racing and bike safety. We also raced in Georgia, Tennessee, and we're fixin' to do a stage race here in Arkansas where I am currently. Unfortunately, I am coming down with a cold or the flu which sucks. I probably caught something from one of the youngsters.

A highlight (and there were many!) of this trip was the fact that we were driving a "stolen" van. We originally rented it for 10 days but changed credit cards, and somehow the contract was closed out after a day. The dumbass rental car company didn't even notice the van was "missing" for over 5 days! Then they put out an APB or whatever the hell it is that they do to make sure we are arrested if we're pulled over. After that, THEN they called us. So, we had to get that all straightened out.

We rented another van in Nashville from the airport, and my teammate and I had to look for signs at the airport to remind us of where we were. We had been to so many towns that we literally didn't know where we were at any given time.

I need to start writing down the funny shit that happens because I forget it all when I start to write these journals. It's halarious traveling with 5 women.
