I love John Deere.
Riding and running are going well these days. It's hotter n' a fried egg around these parts. Whenriding a bike it's like slushing through sand as your bike tires become one with the melting tar on the roads.
I'm riding at 6:30 a.m., and I don't do steroids. That's an inside joke that some of you will get and some won't. It's not important either way.
I try to run in the heat of the day so as to hold myself back. If I run in the morning then my legs just take off without me. What a feeling!
I'm hoping to ride this wave of health and prosperity for a good while. It's all a matter of staying healthy for me. I've had the flu 3 times this year, and only half the year is over! THAT SUCKS! My TDS team has been extraordinarily patient and supportive, and I'm ready to pay them back for that. Being on a team is really motivating. It's much easier to let your own self down, but other people? That's devastating. I hate that feeling.
The other day we took a pit stop on one of our rides. Now, me, I don't touch anything green. I'm highly allergic to poison ivy and have gotten it a few times during pit stops, so I opt to do my business right smack dab in the middle of the road! Anyway, my girlie friend decided to go in a ditch where she promptly got a load of stickers in her shorts, so then she had to take them completely off bare ass facing the road as we both frantically picked them out. Mind you, her boyfriend was on the ride and did NOTHING! Loser! Yeah, he went over and chatted with the boys. He's lucky I don't steal his girl. That'll teach him! Heh, heh.
Cheers ya'll, and thanks for comin' around.
